The mission of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is to support undergraduate, graduate, and professional school student development, empowerment, and success through connection with dedicated diverse staff who provide mental health services that encourage Health, Healing, and Hope.
CAPS provides both in-person and telehealth services located in the state of California.Due to state law and California Board of Psychology and Board of Behavioral Sciences restrictions, students who are not currently in CAPS care, and are out of state or the country, are eligible only for clinical coordination and referral to a provider in their local area based on student insurance plans.
CAPS will operate in compliance with UCLA COVID policy and guidance. Students must be compliant with COVID vaccine policy for in-person services, and are strongly recommended to wear a mask.
