Pronouns: she/her/hers. Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Chase is a licensed psychologist who received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from CSPP Alliant International University in San Diego. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Counseling Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA CAPS. Liz has experience working in psychiatric hospital, residential, community mental health, and university counseling center settings. Her clinical interests include multiculturalism, identity development, depression, suicidality, trauma, and supporting caregivers. Liz’s approach to therapy integrates psychodynamic and acceptance-based cognitive behavioral frameworks. Her goal is to co-create a therapy space that is authentic, responsive, empowering, and healing
