Clinical Experiences/Interests: Working with students navigating identity and personhood related struggles in their journeys, specifically but not limited to persons encountering issues related to marginalization, blended or mixed identity pressures, immigration and mixed-status family stress, chronic loneliness, and thwarted belongingness.
Approach to Treatment: "I use liberation psychology frameworks and strength-based approaches to build collaborative, person-centered, affirming relationships with clients. I encourage metaphor, storytelling, gaming, pop culture and joy-seeking as a part of the therapeutic process toward the goals of achieving resilience, purpose, mattering, and growth."
