Clinical Experiences/Interests: Working with historically excluded and underrepresented groups, including but not limited to communities of color, persons with immigration-related concerns, persons with disabilities, and parenting populations. As well as supporting students navigating family and romantic relationships, life transitions, identity development, self-empowerment and personal growth.
Approach to Treatment: Using a strength-based and decolonial framework, Yadira works with students to explore and strengthen their own inner wisdom and resources and create a non-judgmental space of healing and empowerment.
