Dr. Power received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from CSPP Alliant International University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Southern Methodist University. She completed her internship and post-doctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente, where she worked with a demographically and diagnostically diverse population and received extensive training in individual and group psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological assessment. Her clinical interests include issues relating to family of origin, anxiety, life adjustment, trauma, and domestic violence. Dr. Power provides an eclectic and individualized approach to psychotherapy integrating cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and psychodynamic perspectives.
