UCLA Counseling and Psychological Center

Pronouns: she/her/hers. Dr. Martin earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at CSPP Alliant International University in Los Angeles. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at UCLA CAPS. Lola has experience working in psychiatric hospital, community mental health, and college counseling settings. Her clinical interests include eating disorders, trauma, sexual and gender-based violence, personality disorders, family of origin issues, and identity development. She is, furthermore, passionate about working with first gen and international students. Lola’s approach to therapy is grounded in interpersonal psychodynamic, feminist, and community psychology. She strives to co-create spaces in which students are empowered to gain insight and develop skills towards meaningful change.
