UCLA Counseling and Psychological Center

Dr. Lauren Jensen is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her master’s and doctoral degrees from California Lutheran University’s APA-Accredited Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship at NC State University’s Counseling Center and a postdoctoral fellowship at California Lutheran University Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Jensen’s areas of interests include mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal relationships, trauma and IPV, identity development, and women’s issues. She primarily practices from an integrative approach, utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic techniques with a focus on developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Dr. Jensen is passionate about providing a space where students can develop insight, self-compassion, and overcome challenges through identifying existing strengths as well as developing new strategies.
