Clinical Experiences/Interests: Clinical interests include life transitions, adjustment, perfectionism and anxiety, LGBTQIA+ mental health and wellness, and trauma. Treatment modalities include cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, solution-focused, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-informed, mindfulness.
Approach to Treatment: "I work from a systems perspective within a social justice framework. I aim to understand how each student's intersecting identities, relationships and functioning within broader societal systems are impacting their current concerns. While underscoring the importance of context of student's concerns, I am also solution and present focused in order to help students gain immediate and impactful skills they can use outside of and after their care at CAPS."
