*For SHIP students without a primary nonSHIP insurance, once logged in to Welltrack Connect, and on the search results page, set the drop-down menu "In Network Insurance" to "Anthem" and “Anthem (UCSHIP)” and make sure to select "APPLY."*
Students who intend to use their SHIP to cover their off campus services must request an authorization/referral directly from UCLA CAPS prior to attending your first appointment with an off campus mental health provider.

Insurance notes and details:
If you are dually covered by SHIP-Anthem and another insurance, your nonSHIP insurance is primary for off campus services (except for TriCare and Medi-Cal) and should be used when accessing care off campus. You may search Welltrack and filter for providers who accept your primary insurance
To update first and last name in Welltrack Connect, sign into Welltrack Connect, and select your profile photo from the upper-right corner. From drop-down menu, choose My Profile. Enter your first and last name, then select Update. Note: Changes made to your profile information in Welltrack Connect are only reflected in Welltrack Connect.
