Pronouns: she/her/hers. Sarah completed her Master’s degree at UCLA in the Social Welfare department and has worked primarily in outpatient mental health settings around Los Angeles. Her areas of interest include LGBTQ+ issues, multiculturalism, identity development, anxiety spectrum disorders (OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD), depression and relational issues. Sarah operates from a primarily psychodynamic, attachment based, orientation to conceptualize presenting concerns. She emphasizes helpful coping and active change through use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) treatments. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Sarah works with clients to identify and validate one’s identities and systemic intersections to facilitate empowerment.

Since completing her degree, Sarah worked at UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in a child IOP/PHP setting, providing family and group therapy. Sarah went on to work as an individual therapist with adults at AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Hollywood, and utilized trauma-focused CBT and psycho-dynamic approaches in her work. Most recently, Sarah worked at LAC+USC hospital in Boyle Heights, providing individual, group and family therapy in an outpatient adult clinic.
