Clinical Experiences/Interests: I have worked in community mental health and university counseling centers providing clinical services. I have also worked with high school and collegiate-level teams, providing mental health and performance enhancement services for their student-athletes. I enjoy working with students from various backgrounds and identities, including students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, and student-athletes. Some of my clinical interests include anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, stress management, performance anxiety, and identity development.
Treatment Approach: My approach to therapy involves creating an environment that welcomes collaboration. I believe each client is the expert of their own experience, and I aim to tailor the therapeutic experience to the clients’ needs. I do this by employing an integrative approach to therapy that incorporates elements from Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Feminist therapy. I strive to create a safe space for my clients and build strong rapport by utilizing humor and approaching my clients with compassion, empathy, and curiosity.
