Cristine attended the University of California, Irvine for her undergraduate studies where she earned her Bachelors' in Psychology, Social Behavior as well as Criminology, Law and Society. Cristine then earned her Master's from the University of Southern California. Cristine became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist while working in community mental health with at-risk youth, underserved populations, and families involved in the foster care system. Cristine's clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, communities of color, and decolonizing mental health. Cristine's approach is person-centered with the goal that each student feels safe, heard, and empowered to embark on their journey of self-improvement and mental wellness.
