Courtney has an extensive background in working with children and families, as well as with adults and older individuals. She has experience in working with clients dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, stress management difficulties, substance use disorders and other related challenges. Courtney uses a variety of therapeutic techniques in her practice; however, her main priority is to ensure that her clients know and feel that they are an integral part of the therapy process. Courtney has also worked in various outreach positions through which she aimed to increase individuals’ access to mental health care, as well as to reduce the stigma often associated with this field. She thoroughly enjoys working with the dynamic and diverse population of students who attend UCLA.
