Approach to Treatment:My approach to therapy centers on my desire to help clients discover, learn, grow and heal. In order to facilitate meaningful change, I use various evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe that clients are resourceful and possess a unique set of strengths that will aid them in the therapeutic process. As a Black clinician, I also provide a unique perspective by integrating a strong multicultural framework to fully understand your experiences, relationships and the way you relate to the world around you. I am passionate about decreasing mental health stigma within communities of color and underserved populations. As I always say, representation matters.
