Pronouns: they/them/their, non-binary. Dr. Torrero earned their doctorate in Clinical Psychology at CSPP Alliant International University in San Diego. Alejandra has training in various settings, but has special interests in multiculturalism, diversity, social justice, and inclusive work. Their focus is on supporting underrepresented students around intersecting identities, such as race/ethnicity and gender/sexual orientation. Alejandra works with students in an inviting, warm, mindful way, while striving to empower students in and out of session. They work through an acceptance and commitment framework to create change while attuning to students' interpersonal needs. Therapy is offered in English, Spanish, and Spanglish.
